Put NEW batteries in detectors; the used ones work well for other home devices such as music players. Check your medications for expiration and be sure you are supplied for emergencies including inclement weather, loss of heating or cooling, loss of water, poisoning, fire, illness, and other disasters. Update your emergency contact information with those who may need it such as your Pet Sitter.

- Throughout October, the Cobb Diaper Day Committee is asking for help in collecting diapers to support low-income families. Drop off donations at the
4th Annual Diaper Day on October 29. All proceeds will benefit: C.A.M.P., The Center for Family Resources, MUST Ministries, Reconnecting Families, YWCA of Northwest Georgia. (how to participate)
